FAQs

How long does a typical restoration take?
We normally finish a complete restoration in 12 to 14 months.
How do you know how to restore my car?
Ecurie Bertelli draws information from original Works drawings, a complete and unrivalled archive of period photographs and technical documents combined with decades of experience.
How many parts will you need to replace?
We assess each part for damage, wear and cracks. As long as a part is serviceable we prefer to re-use the part to retain the authenticity of the vehicle. The age of pre-war Aston Martins does mean that parts are often worn or cracked, so we would recommend replacing these with new parts made to original specifications.
Can you fit upgrade parts?
Ecurie Bertelli has developed a range of parts invisibly uprated parts that are interchangeable with originals. Fitting these in no way causes a permanent change to the vehicle but will improve reliability and performance. We also maintain a full stock of parts to original specification. We will discuss these with you before and during the restoration process.
