Ecurie Bertelli MD Closes on podium in Goodwood’s Earl Howe Trophy

Ecurie Bertelli's Managing Director demonstrated the competitiveness of Ecurie Bertelli-prepared Aston Martins by securing a highly credible 4th place finish in the fiercely contested Earl Howe Trophy at the recent Goodwood Members' Meeting.

Performance at the Apex of Pre-War Racing

The 82nd Goodwood Members' Meeting delivered an unforgettable weekend of high-speed heritage, culminating in a spectacular outing for Ecurie Bertelli in the Earl Howe Trophy. This prestigious race, reserved exclusively for pre-war British-built sportscars, saw a field of magnificent Aston Martins, Bentleys, and Frazer Nashes battling wheel-to-wheel around the historic Motor Circuit.

Piloting a beautifully prepared, Aston Martin Speed Model, the Ecurie Bertelli Managing Director was engaged in a tense, race-long battle for the final podium spot. After starting in 6th place, a masterful drive saw the Aston climb to 4th place, showcasing both the driver's precision and the car's faultless delivery. Ecurie Bertelli also saw a great result from the historic Team Car LM4 which climbed from 17th place in qualifying to 11th by the end of the race.

This finish is a powerful endorsement of Ecurie Bertelli’s core belief: that pre-war Aston Martins, when meticulously prepared and supported, remain highly competitive machines capable of challenging the very best in historic racing.
